I edited these images using Adobe Lightroom, experimenting with different adjustments. For some images, I aimed to create a dreamlike atmosphere by converting them to black and white and adding a subtle blue tint. I further enhanced this effect by lowering the dehaze and clarity, which resulted in a soft, ethereal quality. This was inspired by traditional depictions of saints, where the figures often appear serene, with an aura that surrounds them. The softened appearance helps reinforce the religious tones of my work, making the subject feel more saint-like.
However, for other images, I wanted to achieve a vintage aesthetic reminiscent of old prints and aged photographs. To do this, I adjusted the colour grading by adding red shadows and green highlights, which created a nostalgic and aged effect. I also added grain to enhance the texture.
